Szybkie zamówienie, do kanapek dobrałem serki ze szparagami oraz nowe frytki z pieprzem i cebulą. Po dłużących się niemiłosiernie kilku chwilach, otrzymałem swoje zamówienie. Nietypowo (jak na McDonalds) burgery otrzymujemy otwarte, wsadzone jedynie w papierowe koperty, do tego frytki i reszta dodatków oraz sos śmietanowy. Po zrobieniu zdjęć i przyjrzeniu się z bliska nowym kanapkom, zabrałem się za jedzenie. Na pierwszy ogień poszedł oczywiście Grilled Cheese. Już po wzięciu go do ręki czuć słuszny ciężar. Obstawiam, że kotlet waży tutaj w okolicy 150 gramów. Wgryzam się i czuję dobrze mi znany smak wołowiny, wysmażonej oczywiście na well done, ale tutaj nic nie poradzimy. Zaraz za wołowiną jednak pojawiają się w tle dwa sery, pierwszy delikatny i gładki camembert a drugi nieco ostrzejszy i ciągnący się cheddar. Czuć również intensywnie słony i idealnie przygotowany bekon i chrupiące pikle. Całości dopełniają musztarda i ketchup które dbają o to aby dość suche, przez stopień wypieczenia, mięso dało się bez trudu przełknąć. Powiem szczerze, że takie kompozycje lubię najbardziej. Dużo sera, dużo mięcha i brak zbędnych warzyw. Dla mnie idealna kanapka i najlepszy w tym momencie burger oferowany w polskich sieciówkach. Jeśli jednak komuś przeszkadza niedobór warzyw w Grilled Cheese, swoją uwagę powinien zwrócić w stronę Maestro Fresh DeLuxe, tutaj obok najgrubszego w historii McDonalds mięsa, mamy plaster sera, świeżą roszponkę, czerwoną cebulę, zielonego ogórka i malinowego pomidora. Nawet dla takiego mięsożercy jak ja, ta kompozycja również prezentuje się całkiem nieźle. Na zdjęciach prezentuje się ona dokładnie tak jak na żywo – bardzo smakowicie. Przy pierwszym ujęciu go w dłonie, połowa roszponki się wysypuje, a po pierwszym ugryzieniu, burger radośnie rozjeżdża się na wszystkie strony. Na szczęście papierowa koperta w którym go otrzymujemy, pozwala utrzymać całość w ryzach. Tutaj jest zdecydowanie więcej soków, z pomidora, ogórka i dodanych ekstra: majonezowo-cytrynowego i pikantnej salsy pomidorowo-paprykowej. Ale nie musicie się obawiać ostrości, całość jest niemal zupełnie łagodna i bardzo smaczna. Bułka, podobnie jak w przypadku poprzedniego burgera, przypomina z wyglądu bułkę charakterystyczną dla cheeseburgerów ale jest zupełnie inna, zarówno w smaku jak i konsystencji. Delikatnie maślany smak idealnie komponuje się z nowymi dodatkami a większa sztywność ułatwia jedzenie większej porcji mięsa. Jako dodatki dobrałem dwie nowości: serki ze szparagami i frytki z pieprzem i cebulką wraz z sosem śmietankowym. Za opłatą 4 złotych otrzymujemy 4 serki w których nie wyczułem śladu szparagów a sam ser miał dla mnie średnio przyjemny posmak. Nowe frytki posmakowały mi za to dużo bardziej. Chrupiące z wierzchu i delikatne w środku, przypominały nieco domowe grubo krojone chipsy. Posypka w tym przypadku podeszła mi również dużo bardziej niż w przypadku testowanych przeze mnie ostatnio ziemniaczków śródziemnomorskich z Burger Kinga. Tyle, że gdybym nie przeczytał opisu to nie zauważyłbym w smaku cebuli, zdecydowanie dominuje tutaj pieprz który można przyjemnie złagodzić delikatnym sosem śmietanowym. Podsumowując, nowa oferta w McDonalds bardzo mi smakuje, zwłaszcza burger Maestro Grilled Cheese który moim zdaniem, jest najlepszym z burgerów dostępnych obecnie w polskich sieciówkach. Serków ze szparagami już bym raczej drugi raz nie zamówił, natomiast frytki z cebulą i pieprzem, jak najbardziej. Jak zwykle w takim przypadku pozostaje kwestia ceny. Czy chcemy za burgera w sieciówce płacić 17,50zł a z frytkami 18,50zł? To dużo, ale moim zdaniem smak to wynagradza, oczywiście możemy pomarzyć co by było, gdyby mięso nie było wysmażone na well done, ale na to nic nie poradzimy. Moim zdaniem, nawet z mocno wysmażonym kotletem, nowe Maestro Burgery mogą przymierzać się do rywalizacji ze słabszymi burgerowniami. To jest smak który mi bardzo odpowiada. PS.
